1936 Ford Truck
Fred's 1936 Ford 1 1/2 ton Hi, my truck is a 1936 Ford 1-1/2 ton, dual rear wheel. It started life as a bakery delivery truck in San Diego Ca. I purchased it 4 years ago while on vacation in Virginia City, Nevada. When I picked it up I drove it up onto the trailer. The only part I am missing is the windshield crank. I applied for a lost title and finally got it. I added an original 1936 license plate to it when I got the title. Just this year (after I got the replacement title), I have begun working on it in earnest. I am currently disassembling it for restoration. I started working on rebuilding the original 21stud 85hp V8 engine and am close to assembling it in October. It is unbelievable that I have purchased 95% of all the internal engine parts NEW on E-bay and have saved over $750.00 on the engine parts cost. I went back and got the closed box for it this summer.
