Resim
I send you hereby photos of my 2 trucks , both fire trucks. The Ford is a 1952 F5 4x4 , was in active duty till 2000. The dodge is a 1962 D500 4x4 in active duty till April 2002. Both are in running condition and will be preserved. The third one still belongs to the city of Mesen in Belgium, its a 1942 WC52 Dodge still in active service today... Tom & Ken's 1942 Dodge

This truck started out as a parts truck for the 1947 Dodge 1-Ton Tow Truck we were going to "refurbish". When we got all done POWERWASHING it, we decided that it would be better for us to fix it up instead. Even though we guess we've been working on it off and on for about five years, I am completely amazed at how many people who have told us that they would never have the patience to do what we did. Our response to them always is... If it starts getting to you, then just put it aside and come back to it later. This truck has been around for 58 years, a few more weeks or so won't hurt. Probably the hardest part is finding all the parts. If it was a Ford or a Chevy, we'd just open up a J.C.Whitney Catalog (1-800-J C WHITNEY) and fill in the order form. No Such Luck. But that's O.K. We've gone to countless Swap-Meets, Junk-Yards, and met many new & interesting people, all in the Father & Son Quest For '39-'47 Dodge Truck Parts. At Swap-...

Jack's 1942 Chevy LRDG (British Military)

Resim
I thought that you and your visitors might get a kick out of our 1942 Ton and a half Chevy. It is a recreation of one of 200 trucks especially made for the British unit called the Long Range Desert Group. The trucks were made in Oshawa Canada at the GMC plant. This military unit required a special vehicle for travel behind the German and Italian lines in North Africa during WW II. For more information about this truck and the LRDG visit our web site at www.lrdg.org

I have a '42 I just picked up, here is a picture. It’s pretty much stock other than the Ford bed and the turn signals. Thanks, Steve Bryant
