Old Cars

Well here is my story: I own a Sign shop in New Mexico for over 20 years. I had my eye on a 45' hand crank crane for awhile hoping to someday get a chance to purchase the old thing. It had been sitting next to a competitors sign shop for years. Then out of the blue it was for sale! I bought it...... Now I needed an old truck to put it on. I originally was looking for a truck in the 40's or early 50's. I asked everyone I knew to keep an eye out for an old truck. Just a few days latter, one friend had found an old truck for me. We went to see it... man was it OLD.... little too old, was my first thought. But to cool to let go. I bought it for $1800.00 + $20.00 for delivery. After 1 year of bust ass work I had the coolest truck around... now if I get the crane installed, I'll have it made.... I will be able to work in the air with the old classic style! I finally installed the hand crank 45' crane on my truck. It sits in the rack cradle. Should be a cool sign...

I send you hereby photos of my 2 trucks , both fire trucks. The Ford is a 1952 F5 4x4 , was in active duty till 2000. The dodge is a 1962 D500 4x4 in active duty till April 2002. Both are in running condition and will be preserved. The third one still belongs to the city of Mesen in Belgium, its a 1942 WC52 Dodge still in active service today... Regards Wim Top Proven, Belgium
