1948 Ford
Armando's 1948 Ford
I've had this truck for 10 years. This is the second time I build it. It was three years to do a frame up restore. We took the truck apart down to the frame and re-built every piece of it untill it was right. In a nut shell.... This is a 1949 Ford F-1 pick up with a 350 small block Chevy built by MSD Factory Engineers located in EL PAso, Tx. Reliable but about 350 Horse package with a 350 transmission/ shift kit, Ford 9" rear end, Chrysler front clip, power brakes, power steering, Francis Wiring, electric windows, tilt, leather/tweed interior, Factory tint glass, and many custom body fab's.VDO gauges, Air Conditioning by Vintage Air, Bed is total custom, "Only one in existence"! Late model bed fabricated and installed in original bed. Roll pan, frenched lights, and original tail-gate sealed! Rims are Aluminum Weld wheels with Mickey Thompson rear wheels.
Stereo has 450 watts of CD Library! There are many more features to this P-Cup but we like for people to see them in person. I wish you could here how it sounds with the Flowmaster exhaust system!
When I brought this truck home 10 years ago my mom said I was crazy, my dad said he rememberd having one like it and my wife said !@#$%% I wanted it for a work truck but it never made it out of the garage. It was destined for a true street rod!
