Antonio's 1947 Ford

Here are photos of a 1947 PU directly from S. Paulo, Brazil where I live. This PU nicknamed "Grandpa", had when I bought it a 70's Galaxie and a 4 speed trans on. After a lot a serching, which is not an easy task in Brazil, found a mechanic who had a few flatheads and original 3 speed transmissions in excelent conditions.

Now Grandpa is in the process of receiving engine and trans in a few weeks time. Will bring it back to 6volts and upholstery same as original.

One thing remains open: is exterior paint. What you see is a black and white finish that I may bring to full original black.

Todd's 1938 Ford / Seagrave Fire Truck This is a 1938 Ford / Seagrave Fire Truck. Acquired in October of 2000, our family uses this great truck for many parades and fire musters throughout the year. It has the standard V8 85 h.p. Ford flathead engine, and is equipped with a 500 gallon per minute pump. As you can see, its restoration is nearly complete!

When I went on your website and viewed your gallery of "Farm Finds" I just had to send you my beauty! After I looked at all the other old rusty trucks sitting in fields, I didn't feel so bad. This will be my first restoration project ever! With the help of my husband and father, we plan on getting this baby on the road hopefully in the next 5-10 years! I recently emailed Ford Canada and requested some historical information on this truck, and they will be sending something to me soon (just to see what this truck looked like in the "good old days". This poor old truck has been sitting in my parents field at the farm for as long as I can remember (I'm 29 years old). I finally took the initiative and asked my father if I could have it and fix it up. Now the trouble to try to get the ownership in my name! No one remembers who the previous owner was (probably dead) so I go on a hunt to get it in my name! Wish me luck. Debbie

1957 Dodge

Ben's 1957 Dodge My diamond in the rough. This is my 57 Dodge D100. When my wife and I were expecting She turned to me and said If you ever want another toy, you'd better get one now In less than a month I rounded up this beauty. It is a very solid all metal truck, it sports a very healthy 383 and 727 combo that has no trouble getting me into trouble. I certified it within the first week and drive it when I'm not modifying it. I am having the camero clip done at mountain auto body as we speak and then its on to the body after I round up the rest of the parts for the box. It was a flat bed but now has a 51 box minus a 48" x 22" tail gate that I haven't been able to track down. I'm going to paint it amber fire pearl as seen on the Dodge Dakota's and RT's. The truck is a blast to drive and the fun part is I have yet to meet another one on the road. With the exception of a 56 Fargo with a 57 nose piece at mopar fest in Cambridge Ontaio Canada, 2½ hours
